Every Wednesday in the Upper Room is Connect 2:44. For grades 6th through college, come out and grow spiritually in a loving atmosphere. Connect 2:44 comes from Acts 2:44, "All the believers were together and had everything in common." This passage defines Connect 2:44. Connect 2:44 is Worship, Prayer, Small Groups, Community, and the Word. You can't go wrong!High School/ College GroupMiddle School GroupEvery Wednesday, the Middle School gathers together and searches for God. We are always looking forvocalists, and students to play drums, keyboards, bass, and guitars.All About PraiseOver the last several years, I have served on the Worship Team for Calvary Chapel in Melbourne, Florida. It has been an exciting adventure! Whenever our church was planning a Praise Night, I was excited to have the opportunity to participate on stage. It was such an awesome feeling to be lifting up praise to our Heavenly Father with Gods people! I am so honored to be able to lead people in praise to our God! Praise Night is just a little taste of what we imagine Heaven will be like. But I believe its far beyond our imagination.God will be praised forevermore.In Heaven, this praise is ongoing! Praise pleases God! It is the natural response of all creation.Psalm 19:1 says, The Heavens declare the glory of God... Praise is a choice and God desires this praise from His people. How do we know what is pleasing and acceptable to God? Matthew 21:16 says, .From the lips of children and infants you have ordained praise. This kind of praise comes from a worshipful and passionate heart. One that is humble and dependent like a child. God will perfect our praise if we get out of the way and depend on Him. Psalm 51:15 says, O Lord, open my lips, and my mouth shall show forth your praise.
